Artistic Minds was set up by a Sefton artist to promote local clubs/art groups and advertise their exhibitions. It lists artists, artwork, and exhibitions, then connects interested buyers directly with the artist or exhibition organiser. No transactions are processed by the site. Revenue comes from artist/club membership fees and per-artwork listing fees.

Here are some of the local art groups we are working with. If you would like your group to be listed, email Dave Rutlidge (dave@artistic-minds.uk) or contact us via the site. Alternatively, sign up as an artist and create your own group.

Sefton Art Group, hosted by Roy Munday, meets regularly in Southport and Lydiate. They have weekly and monthly groups in multiple locations and welcome newcomers.

"I run a number of art classes in several locations within Merseyside, mostly Sefton and Liverpool. I've been doing art courses for a number of years and the combined groups have now grown into a very lively art group where people come together to not only learn about doing art, but also as a social activity. There are no pressures put on people in any of my classes - No certificates to achieve and which take away much of the fun from art and are worthless to most people. At the same time my art courses are structured according to the needs of each person."
